| Description: | The Site Director will direct the day-to-
day administration and management of the program; plan and coordinate program operations; supervise staff in reaching the objectives of the program; assures compliance with Head Start performance standards, cost principles, state licensing requirements and applicable directives.

| Qualifications: | *Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education,
Masters preferred
*Minimum of five (5) years experience in supervisory/ administrative position in human services programs. Prior Early Head Start/Head Start experience is strongly preferred.
*Experience/skills in program planning and managing programs for children age zero to five.
*Thorough knowledge of child care standards and best practices.
*Knowledge of Memphis community and resources available to children and their families.
*Knowledge of budgeting process and basic financial principles/practices. Grant writing skills helpful.
*Leadership skills and ability to effectively supervise staff. Ability to plan, organize and delegate tasks.
*Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with community organizations and individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
*Excellent oral/written communications and interpersonal skills.
