|Description:||Parent Educator will recruit and maintain a caseload of thirty (30) families; conduct semi-monthly visits to clients; present the “Parent as Teachers” curriculum to clients.|
|Qualifications:||*Requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D.|
*Requires 2 years of relevant work experience.
*Good oral and written communication skills, including good reading skills.
*Ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
*Record keeping skills to maintain legible, accurate, up-to-date files so that information is readily researched and retrieved.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity.
*Effective computer skills to include database management, word processing, spreadsheets, and the Internet.
*Possess the ability to forge a mutually respectful partnership with persons served and their families,
*Organizational skills to determine workload priorities.
